How do you fix this when you can’t take Mac screenshots?
Mac, however, does not have to wear such a problem. If you still have problems with your Mac device, then follow the steps below.
Check if everything else is working properly on Mac, such as Mac keyboard, mouse, or trackpad. If all goes well, turn off your device once and turn it on again.
Because running your Mac device for a long time without turning it off can cause it to work inefficiently or prevent certain apps from working properly.
If your Mac’s screenshot feature doesn’t work, turn off the Mac and turn it on again. Then take a screenshot according to your preferred method, be it a keyboard shortcut or a screenshot app.
Check out the screenshot keyboard shortcuts. These settings are turned on by default. They may be turned off at some point or set to a keyboard combination other than the default.
Reset NVRAM. As with a normal restart, resetting non-volatile random-access memory (NVRAM) can sometimes solve basic Mac apps and performance issues. This memory is responsible for controlling many of the computer’s internal settings.
Confirm location for saving screenshots in the Screenshot app. The default is to save the screenshot on the desktop. If you change that setting, your screenshots may be hidden somewhere you haven’t seen. Check the position in the screenshot app’s floating menu bar.
If you prefer a manual method, use the terminal to set the destination for screenshots and other files.
Check your Dropbox settings. If you have Dropbox on your Mac, you can set it so that screenshots are saved in your Dropbox instead of your Mac’s desktop.
